Enhanced Cleaning Procedure for Pauline Baptist-Cold, Flu, and COVID-19

While we maintain a regular system of cleaning and disinfecting, especially during cold and flu season, we are tailoring the cleaning to respond to needs associated with COVID-19. Public health officials suggest a few common steps can be used by both businesses and individual households: increasing the frequency of cleanings, using disinfectant products that federal officials say are effective, cleaning "high-touch" spots, and making hand sanitizer readily available.

Thankfully, we have resources in place to acquire commercial and hospital grade cleaning supplies that we have been using for the last few years. Currently, our regular cleaning and disinfecting procedure is a minimum twice-a-week cleaning of worship areas and bathrooms. We will increase and modify this based on the seasons of cold, flu, and COVID-19. We deeply care for your well-being and feel taking the following steps will help to ensure your health and safety.

What We Are Doing

Increased cleaning of worship areas and bathrooms: We use commercial/hospital grade disinfectants (Sparsan Q and NABC) to clean, spray, and disinfect these areas. We will clean, spray, and disinfect before, between, and after each worship opportunity.

Focusing on “High-touch” areas: We will disinfect these areas multiple times before, during, between, and after each worship opportunity. In addition, we have installed foot pulls on bathroom doors.

Sanitation stations: Addition of sanitation stations placed at each entrance/exit and throughout the facilities. Outside of the bathrooms and mounted on the walls in each worship center.

UV Lights in A/C systems: Addition of ultraviolet lights placed in the HVAC systems in the North and South Worship Centers. These units kill airborne viruses caused through sneeze and cough.

Don’t use closed off areas: Certain areas of the facilities have been closed off. Please DO NOT go into these areas. We are limiting the areas we have to disinfect during our scheduled service times, so only use the areas that are OPEN.

As we move further into the calendar year and as the regulations and guidelines change, we will adjust as needed. We will take the necessary steps to help protect our church family during these times. We want you to feel safe and protected as you enter and use the facilities.
