If Weather Keeps Us Home

Winter weather can slow us down… but it doesn’t have to stop what God is doing in us or through us. If snow or ice keeps us from gathering in person, our prayer is that this slower pace might become an opportunity to rest, refocus, and grow in the Lord, while also connecting meaningfully with family, friends, and neighbors.

We are praying that even a weather-altered weekend could be a fruitful time in your home and in your faith.

Below are a few simple resources we’ve prepared to help you stay connected and encouraged.

How We’ll Share Updates

Any announcements regarding service times or cancellations will be shared through:

  • Any church text groups you’re part of

  • Our mass email list

  • Our social media pages

Please keep an eye on those platforms for the most up-to-date information.

At-Home Bible Study (PDF)

A simple guide for individuals or families

Because winter weather often brings power outages and limited access to internet or devices, we’ve chosen not to produce a full recorded church service. Our desire is to make sure everyone can participate… no matter the circumstances.

Instead, we’ve prepared an at-home Bible study that we can all walk through together this weekend. This study is designed to be:

  • Easy to follow

  • Family-friendly

  • Usable with or without power

  • Flexible for individuals, couples, or families

Our prayer is that as we open God’s Word in our homes and share the things God is doing in our lives, the Holy Spirit will continue to move in our lives, shaping us to live faithful lives that glorify our Savior.

Online Giving

A way to remain faithful and consistent

If you’re able and choose to do so, online giving is available for weekly tithes and offerings. Your generosity and faithfulness helps support ongoing ministry to our community and all over the world.

A Final Word

If weather keeps you home, we encourage you to look around… check on a friend, reach out to a neighbor, or see if someone nearby may need help or prayer. Winter weather often opens doors for simple acts of love and kindness.

If you or someone you know has a need, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Our church staff is available and would love to help in any way we can. You can contact us through our cell phones, email, or direct messages on our social platforms.

“Let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works.”
— Hebrews 10:24

Whether we’re together in the room or scattered across living rooms, we are still the church. We’re praying this season, slower pace and all, would be a time of growth, connection, and grace for you and your family.

Stay safe. We love you. And we look forward to seeing you soon.
